Government Projects
Green Consulting Services, Inc., has assisted the U.S. Government with a wide variety of services. As a small business, we are continually looking for new ways our resources can be utilized to meet the needs of various governmental agencies.

One project Green Consulting Services has undertaken involves determining if PCB is the dielectric fluid present in the ballasts and transformers at various government facilities. Our professionals visit each site and create a map identifying the location of transformer units. We then send a letter to the local utility company requesting notification as to whether the transformer units contain PCB. The utility company then returns written verification to our office. We also contact the facility administrator at each site to determine if the light fixtures have been retrofitted since 1980 to determine the presence of PCB in the ballasts. Once all information is collected, we prepare a report summarizing our findings at each site.

Our company has also served government clients by creating customized spreadsheets and other software solutions to help them utilize technology to improve their productivity. Another of our services has been to edit and format SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

In 1995 Golf House Tennessee and the Little Course at Aspen Grove were unveiled to the public, creating a standard to be emulated by other associations across the country.

The Tennessee Golf Foundation, Tennessee Golf Association, Tennessee PGA, Women's Tennessee Golf Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association operate from Golf House. Golf House is also home to the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy, The Vinny office and the TPGA Junior Tour office.



Located in Birmingham, Ala., the 81st RSC is the headquarters for the Army's reserve forces located in eight Southeastern states. In total, the 81st RSC provides command and control for more than 30,000 soldiers and direct support services and products to over 42,000 soldiers. More than 270 Troop Program Units are assigned to the 81st RSC across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
